Observations
Kaplan’s relationship with her mother appears to be strong. Reports indicate a prolonged pattern of interpersonal conflict between Kaplan and her father, including periods of limited or suspended contact.
Behavioral records document recurring episodes of emotional dysregulation beginning in adolescence. Despite this, she graduated with honors from Northwestern University and Loyola University Law School. Her tuition was paid through academic scholarship and residuals from KID LEGACY, a syndicated children’s program produced under license using Kaplan’s name and likeness
She is currently employed as an associate attorney at the Chicago Public Advocacy Center.
Emotional episodes have increased in frequency following notification of her father’s death. Surveillance indicates a corresponding increase in alcohol consumption and recreational narcotic use. No measurable degradation in occupational performance has been observed. Behavioral changes should continue to be monitored.
